About

Canterbury sprint tri 5/7/2015, 16th/190, 1st in 25-29 age group.
I'm a keen triathlete, coaching, training and racing with the Weald Tri Club.  Having first been introduced to triathlon in 2012 the attempt quickly became an obsession and racing has become quicker and longer ever since.

This blog aims to be my outlet of all things athletic, from updates on my racing and training, to general musings about sport.

A little about me, I come from a low performance level team sports background, playing hockey and rugby at school, whilst working with mountain bikes throughout my late teens, with my first foray in to individual multisport coming aged 21 at the Cranbrook sprint tri.  Since then I have raced triathlon over distances from super sprint to half iron, while also completing individual events, sportives and cyclocross racing on the bike and runs from 5k to marathon distance.

This season my goals are varied, with the Bewl and Cranbrook sprint tri's and Cambridgeshire based Monster Middle distance races as my main targets.  Ballot places at both the London marathon and Prudential ride 100 London will also punctuate the season.  2016 is also hopefully going to provide my first foray in to cycle crit and road racing (results depending) so I will keep you updated on those things as they come.

Thanks for reading and I hope to see some at you at events this year!
